حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَفِظْنَاهُ وَإِنَّمَا حَفِظَ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ، وَمَنْ قَامَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ”.
Hadith in English
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, will have his past sins forgiven. And whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Laylatul Qadar with faith and seeking reward, will have his past sins forgiven.”

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: “جس نے ایمان اور نیک نیتی کے ساتھ رمضان کے روزے رکھے، اس کے پچھلے گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔ اور جو ایمان اور نیک نیتی کے ساتھ لیلة القدر کی رات قیام کرے گا، اس کے پچھلے گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رِجَالاً، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُرُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْمَنَامِ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ أَرَى رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ تَوَاطَأَتْ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ، فَمَنْ كَانَ مُتَحَرِّيَهَا فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ ”.

Ibn Umar (RA) reported: “Some of the companions of the Prophet (PBUH) were shown in dreams that Laylatul Qadar would occur during the last seven nights of Ramadan. The Prophet (PBUH) said: ‘I see that your dreams agree about the last seven nights, so whoever is searching for it, let him search for it in the last seven nights.'”

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے روایت کی: “نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعض صحابہ نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ لیلة القدر رمضان کے آخری سات راتوں میں ہو گی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ‘تمہارے خواب متفق ہیں، لہٰذا جو اسے پانے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے، اسے آخری سات راتوں میں تلاش کرے۔'”

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ وَكَانَ لِي صَدِيقًا فَقَالَ اعْتَكَفْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعَشْرَ الأَوْسَطَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فَخَرَجَ صَبِيحَةَ عِشْرِينَ، فَخَطَبَنَا وَقَالَ “ إِنِّي أُرِيتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ، ثُمَّ أُنْسِيتُهَا أَوْ نُسِّيتُهَا، فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ فِي الْوَتْرِ، وَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَنِّي أَسْجُدُ فِي مَاءٍ وَطِينٍ، فَمَنْ كَانَ اعْتَكَفَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلْيَرْجِعْ ”.

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (RA) said: “We performed I’tikaf with the Prophet (PBUH) during the middle ten days of Ramadan. He came out on the morning of the 20th day, delivered a sermon, and said: ‘I was shown Laylatul Qadar, but I was made to forget it. Search for it in the last ten nights, on the odd nights. I was shown that I was prostrating in mud and water.'”

“ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: “ہم نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ رمضان کے درمیانی دس دنوں میں اعتکاف کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیسویں دن صبح باہر آئے، اور فرمایا: ‘مجھے لیلة القدر دکھائی گئی تھی، لیکن میں بھول گیا۔ اسے آخری دس راتوں میں، خصوصاً طاق راتوں میں تلاش کرو۔ مجھے دکھایا گیا تھا کہ میں مٹی اور پانی میں سجدہ کر رہا ہوں۔'”“
