رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’تم میں سے جس کا وضو ٹوٹ جائے، اس کی نماز قبول نہیں ہوگی جب تک کہ وہ وضو نہ کر لے۔‘‘

نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’میری امت کے لوگ قیامت کے دن وضو کے اثر سے چمکتے چہروں، ہاتھوں اور پیروں کے ساتھ آئیں گے۔ پس جو کوئی اپنی چمک بڑھا سکتا ہے، وہ ایسا کرے۔‘‘

نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’جو شخص وضو اچھی طرح کرے اور پھر یہ کہے: ’میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں‘، اس کے لیے جنت کے تمام آٹھ دروازے کھول دیے جائیں گے، وہ جس دروازے سے چاہے داخل ہو۔‘‘
