Tawakkul, or trust in Allah, is a central theme in Islamic teachings. It is not simply about relying on Allah passively; rather, it involves taking action while maintaining faith in Allah’s will. The hadiths on Tawakkul provide practical lessons on balancing reliance on Allah with personal responsibility. Below are three key hadiths on Tawakkul, each explained in English, Urdu, and Arabic, followed by a discussion of their importance.

Spend in Charity, and Do Not Fear Poverty
English Version
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered the room of Bilal and saw a pile of dates. The Prophet asked, “What is this, O Bilal?” Bilal replied, “They are dates I have stored for you.” The Prophet said, “Woe to you, O Bilal! Are you not afraid they will become your fumes in the Hellfire? Spend them in charity, O Bilal, and do not fear that the One upon the Throne will leave you bereft.”
